Synopsis For Massachusetts And Rhode Island Coastal Waters:

High pressure from southeast Canada into New England becomes stronger as
it recenters over the Maritimes Wed night. A weak cold front crosses the
southern New England waters tonight. Thereafter...attention shifts to the
very slow northward progress of a developing gale center... currently
along the North Carolina coast. That gale center may move just S of Long
Island Fri before weakening east of New England Sat. Mariners with open
coastal waters intentions Wed night through Fri should follow later
forecast trends for a possible gale watch and seas of 10 to 15
feet...especially in the south coastal open waters.
