 Daily Port Update

Subject:Ice Breaking at Boston and CGC Pendant
Date:Tuesday, January 02, 2018

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Afternoon all,

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">I wanted to let you know asap., that while the CGCPENDANT was ice breaking

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">in the Weymouth Fore River this morning they suffered a major casualty this

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">morning when their Keel Coolers broke.  They are being tow to CG Station

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Point Allerton and will need to be hauled out of the water to be fixed.

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Estimated time of repair is unknown at this time, but is likely to take at

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">least a week.  We have requested an additional ice breaking asset,

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">unfortunately I don't have estimate time of arrival because right now the

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">whole District One from New Jersey to Northern Maine is experiencing below

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">normal freezing temperatures and every ice breaker and buoy tender available

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">is being utilized in ice operations. I will keep you posted as I get

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">We will be closely tracking arrival of ships, and tug & Barges for fuel

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">supplies and talking to the fuel terminals on their supplies.

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">It may be prudent to start discussing your back up plans and commercial

<span-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">service just in case..
