Mostly cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 36F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Partly cloudy early with increasing clouds overnight. Low near 20F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.
 
Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
 
Tuesday into Wednesday, coastal storm will track across Southeastern
New England. Easterly gales possible, GALE WATCH in effect for the
outer waters. Could push seas up to 12 feet. Expect some visibility
issues on the waters with snow and/or sleet transitioning to rain.
As the storm exits, westerly gales follow, seas remain high, cold
air builds in, the threat for minor freezing spray. Conditions  calm
beneath high pressure late Thursday into Friday, but brief.  Another
storm system tracks along the interior ushering strong  southerly
winds and soaking rains, even possible thunderstorms for all waters
going into Saturday. Cold conditions and high pressure return for
Sunday into early next week.
