Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
 
Increasing easterly winds today as low pressure develops south of
the region today. This system will pass south and east of the waters
today and tonight. Wind shifts to a northeasterly direction tonight
as the low lifts east of the Cape Cod. Thursday will see a ridge of
high pressure over the waters for Thursday. A weak low will cross
the southern portion of the waters on Friday. High pressure returns
on Saturday.
