<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#222222">NOAA Fisheries announces a new voluntary right whale Slow Zone Area (acoustic trigger) vessel speed restriction.  On November 17,  2020 Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute acoustic monitoring buoy noted right whales, in the New York Bight, N Y.   The right whale Slow Zone is in effect immediately.  The New York SLOW Zone, is in effect through December 2, 2020.  Mariners are requested to route around both areas or transit through it at 10 knots or less. <span-size:18.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;color:#3D85C6">
